Event photography: Campfire and Starlight Gala 2011

~

For the second straight year supporters of Camp Burnamwood in Irvine, Ky., got together in Lexington the Saturday night before Thanksgiving to party and support the Presbyterian camp in Central and Eastern Kentucky. This was a big example to me of what Burnamwood means to students: I was just working with a senior picture client to come up with a location for his shoot in the spring, and when Burnamwood was mentioned, he said that would be perfect.

There were some distinctly Burnamwood touches to the Campfire and Starlight Gala, including Chef Dave Carpenter’s deluxe s’more station and a group sing of Don’t Stop Belivin’ at the end of the night, led by the Tim Talbert Project.

Thanks to the winning bidder on a one-hour photo session with Rich Copley Photo in the silent auction. You were very generous supporting a great cause, and we’ll have a great shoot.
